A year ago, I bought a few thousand shares of MJC or Manila Jockey Club by mistake at P1.95. The next day shares went up to as much as P2.23. I sold all my shares off earning 25% of my investment.
No, of course I didn't get filthy rich then. I only bought a few thousand shares and not a million shares. I don't have that much resources to afford that much. But still the triumph was very surprising and very adrenalin boosting.
This just goes to show that we need to find that right share at the right time. The question is... what share to buy and at what time? This is always the dilemma.
